from Boh tea plantation, we had dinner at Brinchang which is about 10 minutes drive from Tanah Rata. This is where you will find most of the hotels and restaurants.we tried out the special charcoal steambot, cost RM16 per person.. the restaurant that we had the steamboat..
in the set, we had meat balls and crab sticks..
fish, chicken & prawns..
mushrooms & loads of green vege..
last and not least yee mee noodle & eggs..
wife busy cooking the ingredients ๐
some tea to go with the food ๐
we left after dinner to night market near by..
very busy night market..
After dinner, we went to the pasar malam (night market) near by..
The night market which is open every Saturday night features all kinds of vegetables, flowers, fruits and other products of the highlands.
This place can get really crowded during the weekends and holiday season, it was the school holiday when we were there ๐
Parking can be a headache during this time. Next to Ringlet, this is the other town with petrol stations. Remember to fill up before you leave Cameron Highlands.
one thing i notice, it seems like everywhere I went, there is strawberry..
strawberry key chains, magnet, bookmark..
strawberry pillows..
more strawberry pillows.. ๐
and you can find fresh or dried strawberries.
i bought some corn.. very sweet and nice ๐
the last place we visited was the Watercress Farm for a refreshing dink..
Awesome fresh strawberry juice drink. ๐
